Atlanta, GA, April 9, 2024: Equinox Open Library Initiative, a trusted leader in open source technology development and support for libraries, is proud to announce that Equinox is sponsoring the 2024 Evergreen International Online Conference at the Champion level. Equinox team members will be presenting at the conference.
“The Evergreen International Conference is a significant event for the Evergreen Community and one that we look forward to participating in every year,” said Andrea Buntz Neiman, Project Manager for Software Development. “Amazing brainstorming comes out of the conference and it’s exciting to see Evergreen community members working together to make Evergreen the best it can be.”
The 2024 Evergreen International Online Conference will run from April 22, 2024 through April 24, 2024. It is an annual event which provides the opportunity for Evergreen community members to share best practices and plan and collaborate on new projects. - Tuesday, April 23, 2024 includes a panel with Galen Charlton (Equinox) entitled “Bins and Bags and Boxes: Resource Sharing Infrastructure and its Challenges,” and presentations by Rogan Hamby (Equinox) with Ruth Frasur Davis (Evergreen Indiana and Evergreen Community Development Initiative) on “Using Aspen as Your Evergreen OPAC,” and Lena Hernandez (Equinox) and Stephanie Leary (Equinox) with Jennifer Pringle (BC Libraries Cooperative) on “Uncovering Accessibility Issues Through UI Testing.”
- Wednesday, April 24, 2024, Andrea Buntz Neiman (Equinox) will present alongside Ruth Frasur Davis for their annual Evergreen feature presentation, this year entitled, “New Features in Evergreen 3.11+: The Ruth and Andrea Show, Version 5.0.”
