Atlanta, GA, July 10, 2025: Equinox Open Library Initiative, a trusted leader in open source technology development and support for libraries, is excited to announce that Rogan Hamby, Data and Project Manager at Equinox, will present at the upcoming combined Code4Lib Southeast / Devops4Lib Southeast 2025 Meeting at Emory University.
Hamby’s presentation, “Tree to Forest: Cultivating Aspen Discovery at Different Scales,” will cover Equinox’s successful implementation of Aspen in a spectrum of libraries, from complex statewide consortia with hundreds of branch locations to single-location institutions. It will also discuss how those libraries are using Aspen to modernize discovery and lay the foundation to address ever-evolving library services. The presentation is scheduled for Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at 9:15 a.m. ET, at Emory University’s Robert Woodruff Library in Atlanta, GA.
“Aspen Discovery has a significant positive impact for the libraries we’ve implemented,” said Hamby. “I am excited to share what we have learned about Aspen Discovery from working with our partners and through implementations.”
