Equinox Welcomes Sedalia Public Library to Evergreen ILS and Aspen Discovery with the Missouri Evergreen Consortium

Atlanta, Ga., April 27, 2026: Equinox Open Library Initiative, a trusted leader in open source technology development and support for libraries, is pleased to announce that the Sedalia Public Library has joined the Evergreen and Aspen Discovery communities as part of their membership with the Missouri Evergreen Consortium.

The Sedalia Public Library was founded in 1895 and received a grant from Andrew Carnegie for a library building in 1899. Still located in their Carnegie location, Sedalia Public Library is dedicated to bringing individuals, information and ideas together.

Equinox at the Connecticut Library Association Conference 2026

Atlanta, Ga., April 20, 2026: Equinox Open Library Initiative, a trusted leader in open source technology development and support for libraries, is excited to announce that Equinox will be exhibiting at the upcoming 2026 Connecticut Library Association (CLA) Conference, being held from April 27 through April 28, 2026, in Groton, Connecticut. Equinox staff will be available throughout the event at Booth #16 to provide information about Evergreen, Koha, Aspen Discovery, and Fulfillment, in addition to Equinox’s training, development, and consulting services.

Equinox has worked with Connecticut’s Evergreen consortium, Bibliomation, since 2010. Together with the Connecticut State Library, they provide service and support for the findIT CT Catalog and requestIT CT Statewide Interlibrary Loan service, powered by Fulfillment since 2017. Over the past year alone, requestIT CT circulated 28,370 items with Fulfillment among 131 libraries.

Fulfillment is an open source interlibrary loan management system that leverages intuitive design and effective workflows to maximize value and impact for library users. Fulfillment offers powerful analytics, removing the need for manual tracking and amplifying collections management efforts with clear reports that highlight collections with the most demand. “There has been meaningful development for Evergreen ILS and Aspen Discovery over the past year, and more on the horizon,” said Felicia Beaudry, Business Development Manager at Equinox. “I look forward to sharing the highlights with the members of the Missouri Evergreen Consortium and discussing how these enhancements can positively impact their library work.”

The Missouri Evergreen Consortium (Missouri Evergreen) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization which began in 2012. Equinox has been collaborating with the Missouri Evergreen Consortium on Evergreen since 2019 and providing Aspen Discovery to members since 2025. To date, there are 22 libraries within Missouri Evergreen that have begun using Aspen Discovery with Equinox support.
