Atlanta, Ga., July 1, 2025: Equinox Open Library Initiative, a trusted leader in open source technology development and support for libraries, is pleased to announce high rankings in satisfaction with customer support by public libraries in the 2025 Library Perceptions Survey. This annual survey is conducted by Marshall Breeding of Library Technology Guides and provides valuable insights and feedback on the trends in technology for libraries. The full survey is available on the Library Technology Guides website: https://librarytechnology.org/perceptions/2024/.

“Providing excellent client support is one of the most rewarding things we do – helping libraries make a difference in their communities and working with them to solve problems,” said Steven Callender, Support Manager at Equinox. “We are excited to see Equinox’s support positively reflected in the Library Perceptions Survey.”

Other favorable feedback included that Aspen Discovery was rated as more usable when supported by Equinox, and Equinox had the highest ranking of any Aspen Discovery support provider in this category. In addition, Equinox received top marks as a service provider in the categories of general ILS satisfaction for Evergreen ILS in regards to overall ILS functionality and in effectiveness for print resources by small public libraries.
